Washington
Terry McLaurin produced a career-high 30.7 DK points in Week 2. We put him in the Galaxy Brain portion of the newsletter this week … bests that number with 33.3 DK points
Falcons
Cordarrelle Patterson (a former first round pick) has now matched a career season in terms of TD receptions (4).
Kyle Pitts saw a career high 9 targets and hardly improved his yards per game (rose from 46.3 to a 47.3)
Texans
Points by week for HOU: 37 – 21 – 9 – 0
Brandin Cooks accounted for over 54% of HOU receiving yards … and isn’t going to be a top 40 receiver for the week
Bills
Dawson Knox has a TD catch in 3 straight games … Stefon Diggs hasn’t done that with Buffalo … hell, he hasn’t done it since 2018, it’s hard!
Zack Moss has scored in all 3 of his games this season (missed Week 1)
Lions
3 different Lion players had 12+ DK points as a pass catcher… Swift, Williams and Hockenson did not get there (Cephus, St. Brown and Raymond did!)
Bears
Darnell Mooney was highlighted in the Saturday newsletter and paid off with his first 100 yard game (125)
Panthers
Sam Darnold’s best season with the Jets: 3,024 passing yards and 19 passing TDs
He’s on pace to pass both of those number by halftime of Week 11
Darnold is the ONLY active QB to have consecutive games with multiple rush TD AND 20 pass attempts … leaves the Jets and he’s historically versatile!
Cowboys
Dak Prescott has thrown at least 3 TD passes in 5 of his past 6 fully healthy games
Last 2 games, CeeDee Lamb (totals): 5 catches, 8 targets, 79 yards (he went over 79 yards in each of the first 2 weeks)
Colts
Michael Pittman leads the Colts in targets for a 3rd straight game (10.7 targets per game over that stretch)
Jonathan Taylor past 2 games: 6.4 yards per carry (first 2 games: 3.3)
Dolphins
Mike Gesicki in Brissett’s 2 starts: 15 catches, 18 targets, 143 yards, TD (Tua’s 2 starts: 3 catches, 9 targets, 41 yards, 0 TD)
Browns
Kareem Hunt’s current 17 game pace: 1,509 total yards and 13 touchdowns.
Vikings
Adam Thielen is great at scoring TDs, but it’s a thin play if he doesn’t score
Under 57 yards per game this season (17-game pace: 965)
Giants
For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, Saquon Barkley has a 40+ yard touch (54-yard TD catch)
He had one such touch in the first 4 games of his monster rookie season
Upcoming opponents: at DAL, vs LAR, vs CAR, at KC, vs LV
Saints
Alvin Kamara: bellcow, but that ultimately hurts his value (targets are worth more than rushes).
Entering this season, he never had a first half with more than 12 carries. He’s had at least 13 in 3 of 4 weeks this season (14 in Week 4)
Titans
Derrick Henry keeps cooking, but the next month or so might be underwhelming if this TEN team doesn’t get their shit together
Should be great next week, but after that … vs BUF, vs KC, at IND, at LAR (will be a decent ‘dog in 3 of those 4 games)
Jets
Michael Carter was the only Jet with more than 4 carries (only 38 yards on 13 carries, but the role is there at least)
Jamison Crowder debuts and leads the team in catches (7) and targets (9)
At least 6 catches in 3 of his past 4 games. PPR consistency, even in a brutal offense
Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes throws 5+ TD passes for the 4th time of his career (moves into a tie for 9th all-time, tied with Favre and Wilson)
Eagles
Jalen Hurts is on pace for 4,960 passing yards and 960 rushing yards
Steelers
At least 10 targets in 10 of 12 games for Diontae Johnson
League-wide, targets on balls thrown 10 or fewer yards are worth roughly 1.6 DK points each. So lock in 10+ targets and we are talking at basically a 16-point floor
Look at the late season schedule: Chargers, Bengals, Ravens, Vikings, Titans, Chiefs (Weeks 12-16) … they are going to have to throw to keep up, those targets are as safe as they come!
Packers
AJ Dillon gains 81 yards to Aaron Jones’ 48 (both had 15 carries)
Dillon had a total of 15 carries for the season prior to Week 4
Cardinals
AJ Green has a TD over 110 receiving yards in 3 straight games
Old man Green had 3 games with a 20+ yard catch last season … he’s 4/4 this season
James Conner with multiple rushing TD and 40+ rush yards in consecutive games
Only RBs to do that last season: Henry, Taylor, Chubb, Cook, McCaffrey and … Adrian Peterson of all people
Rams
Van Jefferson has 10 catches and 12 targets over the past 2 weeks (first 2 weeks: 3 catches on 6 targets)
Seahawks: TD catch in 3 of 4 games this season for DK Metcalf )exactly how he started last season)
49ers
Deebo Samuel has seen at least 8 targets in every game, has a 40+ yard catch in 3 of 4 games (7+ touches in every game)
George Kittle is AVERAGING 10 targets over the past 2 weeks (saw a TOTAL of 9 in his first 2 games)
Ravens
Dropped a 44-yard TD in Week 3 … catch that and Marquise Brown is over 19 DK points in all 4 weeks this season
Catch that and he’d have 10 TD catches in his past 10 regular season games
Latavius Murray gets 78% of the BAL RB carries
Broncos:
Over 12 DK points in 3 of 4 games for Noah Fant
Rare stability at the position. But Lock threw for 113 yards on his 21 attempts (and Fant’s TD came from Bridgewater) … TE hell continues to exist for just about everyone!
