Week 9 RECAP: Injuries, RB Snaps, Team Notes
Week 9 Recap
PME Studio is back to full strength and so is Cust’s confidence in Jets. From no more wins the rest of the season to “Probably no more losses.” Plus, Kenny Kim is on to guess to the lines, talk Washington football, and Dan Snyder’s behavior in restaurants.
WATCH: WEEK 9 RECAP, WEEK 10 LINES
We’ve partnered with JOCK MKT for football season, and so far BIG JOHN Laghezza has been plucking the values from the high and low end. If you haven’t played JOCK MKT yet, it’s essentially a stock market for players, so you buy them a one price for the week and see if they turn a profit.
It’s legit great if you only want to play for a little bit of cash per week. Find your penny stock players and cash. They’ve been an amazing partner with us at MMN, (and people are WINNING!) so give them a shot. And here’s some bribery…

Week 9 RB Snap Shares
(11 snaps for Cam Akers if you’re still interested in such things)
Week 9 Game NOTES
Chargers: Justin Herbert isn’t 100% healthy and if his WR core is compromised, he’s not a top-10 QB. Talented? Sure, but without pass catching upside or rushing equity, he just doesn’t cut it in todays game.
Falcons: Even split on the snaps for the RBs in Atlanta and while Allgeier looked good, this feels like C-Patt’s backfield moving forward
Dolphins: Are they a better version of early season Detroit? Another week where over two-thirds of the passing yards go to two guys. There’s no more simple stack in DFS week-in and week-out.
Bears: Best fantasy game by a QB this season from Fields … he gets the Lions, Falcons, Jets and Packers before going on bye in Week 14.
Packers: Any reason to think that even an Aaron Jones injury can make AJ Dillon worth it? I actually think so. A pair of picks inside the 5 … but at least GB was in scoring position. IF Jones were to miss time, Dillon profiles as a fine buy.
Lions: Green Bay had the ball for over 57% of this game and that hurt the volume across the board for the Lions. The Sun God is still a weekly lock despite the underwhelming day and one (1) of these running backs will be worth your time.
Colts: No Colts reached even 25 receiving yards. There’s no way you can lock in Michael Pittman to rosters in this passing environment.
Patriots: JJ Taylor with 10 carries … not worried. Rhamondre Stevenson had the beautiful TD catch and is the man in this backfield. Treat him like you would any other top-10 back.
Bills: It was close throughout and Josh Allen finished with more carries than Devin Singletary. The idea of a running back in this high-powered offense makes plenty of sense, but it just isn’t meant to be on a consistent basis.
Jets: Garrett Wilson is the real deal. This backfield is going to be a nightmare until they give one guy the bellcow work … a dead even 50/50 split simply isn’t going to work most weeks.
Vikings: TJ Hockenson led the team in catches in his season debut and very much looked like one of the few tight ends you can lock into lineups on a weekly basis.
Commanders: Zero interest in really anyone from this offense. Curtis Samuel got there … he was lucky as can be on the 49-yard TD and without it, he’s useless.
Raiders: 3 yards last week for Davante … 6 catches in the first quarter this week.
Jaguars: Let the debate start about how high we draft Travis Etienne next season. Good to see the Jags get back to early season usage on Christian Kirk in a great spot.
Seahawks: How many players get picked ahead of Kenny Walker next season? I’m not sure you need more than two hands to answer that question.
Cardinals: It was an ideal matchup spot for Rondale Moore and he came through for PPR managers. That said, how much upside is there really to be had here? DeAndre Hopkins is elite DeAndre Hopkins again, Kyler Murray is going to get his on the ground and … we are approaching the colder months. I like Moore and wouldn’t sell just to sell, but if someone views him as prime Jarvis Landry, I don’t mind the idea of fielding calls.
Rams: Talked about how limited offenses make it tough for certain teams to field a single productive option (i.e. Carolina). I stand by that general idea… it just doesn’t apply to Cooper Kupp. Top overall pick next season in redraft?
Bucs: Uncle Lenny is on the benching radar after another underwhelming game on the ground. Yes, the pass game involvement keeps him in the conversation, but given that this offense isn’t in scoring position with any sort of consistency, any back with a 15+ touch projection deserves consideration over Fournette.
