Restart Surivior
The restart survivor league IS HERE!!!!!! It starts in Week 7, which is THIS WEEK!!!! (you can make your picks starting Tuesday). And since it was delayed in coming out, they’ve decided to make it FREEEEEEEEE to play and have $5,000 up top. There’s no legitimate reason not to play. Takes about 43 second to sign up, and less than 10s to make your pick every week, and you may win $5K.
PLAY IN RESTART SURIVIOR LEAGUE
Do me a favor and tell some people about it too. The more people who sign up, the more FREE MONEY they’ll give me to make a massive prize pool one to start next year. But if we don’t get the numbers, then they wont'. So let jam it full.
And let’s face it, you’re probably out of your Week 1 Survivor League anyway. REDEMTION TIME!!!!!!!

Week 6 Team Notes
BAL: Gus Edwards out-carried Justice Hill 16-8, a positive step as Baltimore enters its bye week, but without a touch gaining more than 20 yards this season and no role in the pass game, is he really a viable option on a weekly basis? No. He deserves to be rostered through the bye, but I wouldn't be counting him as anything more than roster depth.
TEN: DeAndre Hopkins was averaging under a half-PPR point per target prior to the big Week 5 and guess what? That five game same was more predictive than a single big performance. He turned five targets into 20 yards in an offense that looked worse after Ryan Tannehill departed. Hopkins still has juice, but in 2023, his name is far more valuable than any actual production you can count on.
WAS: Why isn't Sam Howell a consistent fantasy streamer? He's cleared 18 fantasy points in four of his past five games and gets the Giants next week. If you're struggling with health or bye weeks, Howell is the high-floor type of option that can serve as a band-aid.
ATL: Kyle Pitts scored for the first time in 350 days, so there's that. Tyler Allgeier got a bunch of red zone work. Arthur Smith's one goal in life is to make our lives difficult and that is one thing he succeeds at on a consistent basis.
MIN: As it turns out, running room might be tough to find with Justin Jefferson out. Who would have thought? Alexander Mattison continues to be used in the pass game and that'll keep him ranked as a low-end RB2, but understand that the floor can fall out at any moment.
CHI: An injury to Justin Fields makes this game tough to evaluate, but I will say that Roschon Johnson is certainly an interesting piece with him likely to return next week (Raiders and Chargers over the next two weeks) and Herbert gone at least 4 weeks.
SEA: Nothing to see here, they are exactly who you think they are. All three of their primary skill players deserve to be started weekly while Geno Smith is on the outside looking at streamer value most weeks.
CIN: Ja'Marr Chase came into the game as a top-5 player in average separation despite consistent press coverage. He's an elite target earner and he continued to prove that again in this spot. You paid up for him this summer and he's set to pay it off with sheer volume.
SF: I'm fine with buying any 49ers if available at a discount - this Browns defense is going to make a lot of offenses look inept. Write it off and move on if you have a 49er on your squad. I’d wait and hear about the serverity of the CMC and Deebo injuries however.
CLE: Amari Cooper had a big play (58 yards), but counting on anybody out of this offense is playing with fire without consistency under center. Kareem Hunt made this a committee backfield and no secondary pass catcher is even remotely interesting with PJ Walker under center. Save yourself the headache and move on.
CAR: You can't stop Adam Thielen, you can only hope to contain him. Another big game and the usage remains elite. Could you potentially buy him from a team with a losing record as he enters the bye week? It's at least worth seeing how desperate the Thielen manager is, you might be able to leverage it into a decent offer.
MIA: Turns out that the Raheem Mostert chalk was right. Jeff Wilson Jr. is likely to return next week and that'll subtract some from the Mostert bottom line, but he remains a strong RB2, even in a tough matchup next week
IND: Josh Downs entered this game with a near 26% target share from Gardner Minshew this season and while he fell short of that number in this game, he was involved early and did end up scoring. He probably doesn't matter in season long, but with Minshew under center for the foreseeable future, he'll be very much in play as a punt DFS option.
JAX: The Trevor Lawrence manager in your league has to be running low on patience. If that's the case, embracing the discount isn't a bad idea - nothing but warm weather games for the fantasy playoffs and for all but one game following the Week 9 bye
NO: The Taysom Hill role is fantasy friendly because any role at the TE position is friendly. That said, he's nothing more than a risk/reward option ... like about a dozen or two guys atm.
HOU: Dalton Schultz is slowly turning into a thing. There was no Tank Dell in this game, but his recent production makes sense given how that offense functions. Is he a lock top-10 TE moving forward? Not close and he can remain on waiver wires with the Week 7 bye, but TE streamers (with deep benches) should keep his name in mind after waivers clear this week and he becomes a free add this week.
NE: Ezekiel Elliott looked washed last season and Rhamondre Stevenson looked like a back of the future. Here we are, less than a year later, and Zeke has every right to be ranked ahead of Stevenson next week against the Bills. Now, you could argue that Stevenson's past versatility could shine in a matchup as a big 'dog, but either way - you can't feel good about starting a single Patriot. Not this week and not for the foreseeable future.
LV: Revenge game TD for Jakobi Meyers as he continues to produce massive return on investment for his fantasy managers. The Garoppolo injury scares me, so tune into the podcasts this week as we adjust through new information and make final decisions, but at the moment, Meyers is a WR2 that is producing every single week.
DET: Jameson Williams with a contested 45-yard TD grab, something I'm sure we will see plenty of in years to come. The volume is still a MAJOR concern and whenever Jahmyr Gibbs comes back won't help that, but he is exactly the type of guy you want with volume bye weeks coming.
TB: Momma said there would be Baker Mayfield afternoon's like this. I'm not pivoting from my pre-Week 6 takes on Evans (top-15 range) or Godwin (top-25 range) - we knew that weeks like this were going to happen. The Bucs should be able to move the air over the next month and this duo is their path in doing so.
AZ: We spent all week trying to figure out what the RB touch distribution would look like sans James Conner and ... that was wasted time. Joshua Dobbs might be worth streaming if you're in that business for Week 7 (at SEA)
LAR: Is now the time to deal Puka Nacua? Cooper Kupp is nothing short of inevitable at this point and over the next two months, the Rams have games against the Cowboys, Browns and Ravens, not to mention their bye week or a game next weekend against a Steelers team coming off of their bye. It's not easy for an offense to sustain two top-25 receivers every week, regardless of matchup, so given how Kupp looks and a tough schedule to manage, it's possible that this is your trade window.
PHI: This DeVonta Smith stuff is getting irritating. He scored in the first two weeks of the season, A.J. Brown got jealous and now Smith is struggling to produce usable numbers. He had a chance at a nice chunk play against the Jets and proceeded to swat it to the ground. Not ideal! I still think I'd be in the business of buying him, but my patience is waning.
NYJ: A nie game from Garrett Wilson that could have been bigger if not for a free play that the Jets botched (25-yard gain from Wilson that put them in scoring position that came off the board because of a blindside block from Lazard). He might be a viable buy right now ... NYJ goes on their bye and could be had at a discount as a result. If so, I'd pounce. As bad as Zach Wilson is, New York is going to be in a spot that either requires scoring (Chargers, Bills and Dolphins) or is scoring friendly (Giants and Raiders) over their next five games.
