Kirk Cousins 51% owned so he doesn’t qualify for the list, but he’d be No. 1 at CAR.
WEEK 5 TEAM NOTES
NYJ: Garrett Wilson had the fourth lowest yardage total for a Round 1 receiver that caught 13+ passes in a game since 2000. Rodgers is looking his way, but the explosive stuff hasn't been there and the chemistry on those timing routes still appears to be off.
MIN: The Vikings completed less than half of their passes and averaged 2.7 yards per carry. Justin Jefferson is Justin Jefferson, but with Aaron Jones banged up, Jordan Addison hit-and-miss, and TJ Hockenson on the mend -- I'm not sure you can feel good about anyone else in the short-term. If Ty Chandler is on your wire, he deserves a look in all formats if not already rostered.
CAR: Chuba Hubbard has been running hard and that, along with the losing, makes the Jonathon Brooks stash less valuable by the week.
CHI: DJ Moore had three 20+ yard catches in the first half, with two of them being 30+ yard scores. The Bears get the Jaguars-Commanders-Cardinals over their next three games -- this team is going to be a factor on DFS slates.
BAL: Zay Flowers continues to impress and if none of these TEs are going to earn looks consistently, he's a top-15 receiver moving forward with a nice floor.
CIN: The Cincy triple stack hit in a big way -- this is again to be considered one of the most potent and concentrated pass games in the league.
MIA: De'Von Achane's day ended early and next week lines up to be a great one for anyone with Dolphin exposure -- they have their bye. There isn't a soul on this offense you can feel good about until/if Tua Tagovailoa returns. Buying super duper low on Hill/Waddle is live if you're undefeated and have the luxury of looking long-term, but that's far from safe.
NE: Rhamondre Stevenson gets benched, so, of course, he breaks a 33-yard TD (previous two weeks: 33 rush yards per game with 0 scores). He's the skill guy to own on this team if you most, but he's not going to be a top-20 lock at any point in this offense.
CLE: For the fourth time in five weeks, Amari Cooper saw 8+ targets and failed to score more than 10 PPR points. Until things change, I'm avoiding everything tethered to Deshaun Watson.
WAS: Brian Robinson looks a lot like 2023 Gus Edwards and that means he's viable weekly. Austin Ekeler has shown more juice than last season, but this is Robinson's backfield and I'm not sure this offense slows down any time soon.
IND: Just your ordinary 22.4 PPR point game with a sub-7% target share for Alecc Pierce. This dude is making plays weekly, but if you wanted to sell, I'd support it.
JAX: Brian Thomas Jr connected on another bomb and has now scored in three of five games. He's a similar physical makeup of Nico Collins, but he's being given rookie career usage
BUF: The Bills succeeded in their desire to lose this game. It was good to see James Cook get both volume and goal line looks, but everything else was a mess. Keon Coleman paid off a good matchup because of a single play, but without Khalil Shakir, this passing game lacked play-to-play stability.
HOU: Nico Collins got his deep TD because the only thing that can stop him is a bulky hamstring and if then -- it didn't sto phim on that play, it just knocked him out for the rest of the game. The targets were spread out after he left, making Diggs/Dell more flex options than players you can count on weekly.
LV: Brock Bowers cashed in on what was a pretty clear elite spot -- no WR1 and a shutdown corner guarding their WR2. Don't get me wrong, Bowers is a weekly asset, but I don't think he's some sort of cheat code that is going to break the game. He's been solid in three of five games and an every-other-week sort of thing is what I think we can bank on moving forward.
DEN: I'm not sure we can often count on the Broncos scoring 34 unanswered points and that game script allowed Javonte Williams to produce a viable stat line. I'm not buying it -- if I can avoid Bronco exposure, I'll go ahead and do it.
AZ: Michael Wilson is going to be in the flex conversation weekly. I don't think this offense can sustain three pass catchers on a regular basis, but neither Trey McBride nor Marvin Harrison Jr. have proven consistent enough to rule out Wilson. The production will vary, but the team seems committed to giving him chances
SF: The Aiyuk breakout game finally came and I think it's here to stay, especially if this defense is ordinary instead of elite. Part of the math behind him being a top-10 WR this preseason was Brock Purdy's connection with Aiyuk -- as he ups his scramble game, that chemistry only gains in value. Deebo's value is going to be spotty as a result, but his versatility makes him still a player that you're going to have a tough time benching.
GB: Tucker Kraft continued his ascent up the rankings and I don't see much of a reason to cool the optimism. He's getting consistent looks in an offense we trust that seems to lack the pass catcher depth that we once feared (high-ankle sprain for Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs just doesn't want to be there). He entered the season as the TE2 on Green Bay -- he's now a top-10 guy in the league.
LAR: Colby Parkinson was the leading target earner ... I don't really care. Cooper Kupp is coming back soon and that'll give this pass game one player I feel good about, but it'll be very much in a Malik Nabers type of way in New York where he is the alpha and the only viable threat.
NYG: SLAY-TON! Maybe I have an elite read on this Giants offense. Or, maybe, I just landed on the right guy to pick up the slack left by Malik Nabers. When the rookie returns (concussion protocol usually results in only one missed game), I think we can safely go back to not caring too much about this team.
SEA: This game served as a reminder that the Geno Smith we saw last week simply isn't the version we can count on. Better days should be for DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker, but the JSN/Tyler Lockett random number generator isn't something I want to invest heavily in at any time.
