Week 3 DFS Ownership & Top Plays
Justin Freeman released this handy cheatsheet to guide you quickly this weekend. This chart is from Friday evening. Once certain players are offically ruled IN or OUT, then everything will get a fresh update Sunday morning. But it should give you a sense of what people are doing on DraftKings this week.
For example, if Aaron Jones is ruled OUT unexpectedly, anticipate AJ Dillon to become a much better value.

WATCH: Week 3 DraftKings Picks & Lineups
STACK - Let's make it a full team option at lower ownership!
Derek Carr - Chris Olave - Rashid Shaheed at GB
- GB vulnerable deep down the field (Mooney TD in Week 1, 3 Falcons with a big reception in Week 2)
- GB is favored, could lead to a pass heavy script
- The Saints are running out of RBs, brought in Carr to help them take a step
- Olave: 4th in air yards per game since entering the league (Tyreek, Davante Adams and Justin Jefferson)
- Shaheed has a 40-yard catch in 5 of his past 7
--> Taysom Hill exposure might be mandated this week. Not a ton, but with the RB injuries and the team willing to get him involved last week. Not to mention the GB vulnerability down the field. Could this be one of those goofy cheat code weeks??
Secondary Stack
Justin Herbert to Mike Williams at MIN
- Highest total on the board (potentially chalky)
- Herbert threw for over 600 yards and 5 TDs in two high total games vs KC last year
- Herbert threw 51 times vs SEA in a shootout last season
- Williams is $1,600 cheaper than Keenan Allen (but has a higher ceiling possibly?)
- Buying the 13 targets last week, selling the limited production on them
Trustworthy RB
Travis Etienne vs HOU
- HOU has allowed three rushing TDs in both games. Not total. In EACH game.
- Etienne touches per game: up 23% from last season
- Already saw the hig week/usage potential in Week 1: 23 touches, 104 yards, TD
Don't Forget About Me RB
Alexander Mattison vs LAC
- 81% of MIN RB opportunities this season
- Cam Akers trade could result in public overreaction and fading despite Akers probably not playing.
- The Chargers still don't know how to stop the run
D/ST Options
Pay Up: Chiefs vs CHI
- If people pay up, I expect DAL to be the chalk option - this saves you $500
- CHI has fewer team RB runs than 10 individuals have this year - Fields is going to be dropping back
- Monster spread, YOLO attitude from the Bears passing game and a surprisingly good KC D
Pay Down: Commanders at BUF
- Obvious risk/reward spot, Allen thinks he can make every play (sometimes he can)
- WAS: 7 sacks last week, multiple TOs forced in both games this season
