GOLF IS BACK!!!!!!
Enough of the preseason Golf content. Unless you haven’t seen the season preview yet. If not, do that now…
Tournament of Champions content starts SUNDAY. Until then, The Race for the MAYO CUP is BACK for 2022. And the prize pool is BIGGER this time around. It’s one pick in golf per week for the season, $125 per entry, up to five entries. So there’s $625 in dead money just from me.
If you’re a higher (or lower) roller, there are contests for you as well. This doesn’t start until the second week in January, but based on last year, it may be filled by New Year’s day. so GET IN NOW!!!!!
SPOLIER: There may be private leagues coming as well if you wanna take on your buddies.
Additionally, we always want to make sure Fantasy National is up to snuff for tools and data, and I’m FIRED UP to announce a BRAND NEW feature to the site. If you click on “Distance/Accuracy” on each player profile, you can now see how players shape the ball off the tee! I know this is something people have be looking for for years and now we’ve got it.
If you missed Part 1 of the Season Long Golf Draft… SHAME!!!!!! You can rectify that however and simple watch it now. I’m giving away free entrees into the OAD contest, so watch it just to find out what you need to do.
Andddddd….. if you NEED even more golf in your life, Kenny And Tambo are back with their season preview too. Do yourself a favor and just watch the trailer.
GALAXY BRAIN: LOTTERY TICKET
Sick of struggling in the milli-maker? Bet through DraftKings Sportsbook and you can put in a 16-team parlay. In theory, you “only” need 16 things to go your way, as opposed to getting 9 players in a DFS lineup right AND hoping there isn’t a better combination out there. I’m not saying it’s likely, but at basically 31,000-to-1 … it’s an option. And hey, what better way to enjoy one of the final full weeks of the NFL season then having interest in literally every result?
Wondering where to start in building your retirement plan? Here’s a nugget for every game on the Week 17 slate to help you out. What could go wrong??
Falcons at Bills: Unders are 7-2 when the Falcons fail to cover this season.
Giants at Bears: After a 4-1 ATS stretch, the G-men have regressed in a hurry … losing each of their past five ATS.
Chiefs at Bengals: When a game features a road favorite of more than a field goal this season, under tickets have cashed 63.4% of the time.
Dolphins at Titans: When playing at home, Titan games are, on average, scoring 8.4 points less than the Vegas projection (the second lowest rate in the league)
Raiders at Colts: Since mid October, the Raiders have ONLY covered their final game of each month. This game is not one of those instances (unless next week gets canceled for some reason).
Jaguars at Patriots: Teams favored by double digits with an over/under less than 45 are 8-3 ATS this season.
Buccaneers at Jets: Over the past decade, unders are 42-21 in games with a road favorite of 10+ points
Eagles at Footballs: Under tickets cashed in 4 of Philadelphia’s first 6 games, but overs are 7-2 since.
Rams at Ravens: Four straight covers for the Rams, coming on the heels of five straight losses ATS.
Broncos at Chargers: Home teams favored by more than a field goal are 29-21-2 ATS this season
Texans at 49ers: Unders are 4-2-1 in gams this season in which the 49ers cover.
Cardinals at Cowboys: The Cardinals (tied with the Cowboys) have the best road cover rate this season (7-1 ATS).
Panthers at Saints: Since 2018, underdogs are 32-19-2 ATS in games with an over/under of less than 40 points.
Lions at Seahawks: The Seahawks have failed to cover 8 times this season and under tickets have come through in 6 of those instances
Vikings at Packers: Overs have hit in a league-high 75% of Minnesota’s road games this season
Browns at Steelers: AFC North teams are just 13-18 ATS at home this season
The sides for these notes …
Giants/Bears (Bears ATS)
Raiders/Colts (Colts ATS)
Jaguars/Patriots (Patriots ATS)
Rams/Ravens (Rams ATS)
Broncos/Chargers (Chargers ATS)
Cardinals/Cowboys (Cardinals (ATS)
Panthers/Saints (Panthers ATS)
*note includes an additional pick for the game … if your book allows multiple bets from the same game, you can get this to flirt with the 100,000-to-1 odds that’d it take to make you a millionaire with a $10 bet!
This will be fun until BUF/ATL goes over within 17 minutes.
Week 17 Best Bets
Call me Charlie Chalk, but I’m not talking myself out of the Eagles & Cowboys. Anyway, watch the show. Cam is on FIREEEEEE in this one.
I’ve taken the lead on Geoff with the Coin closing distance. Cust, of course, is now well behind. But he does share some xmas gripes with everyone…
Week 17 DraftKings Ownership
Obviously, one ill-timed COVID List joiner can throw an entire slate out of whack last second, but this is where the chalk is gathering right now. These are the weeks where an optimizer and projections really come in hand if you’re serious about finding every edge, so it’s probably THEE time to get in on Run The Sims. It’s only $100 from now til the end of the Super Bowl .
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Cody and Paul have the end of the year UFC awards, if that’s something you’re into
Find out who wins this prestigious award…
