2024 One and Done League
Last year, I got my dad an entry into the PGA One and Done. He doesn't quite get gambling or Fantasy but the OAD was an easy way for us to talk about golf every week for 8 months. If you’re like me, you’re probably running thin on things to chat with your dad. So, not only did this give us something to talk about, it actaully made sdure we didn’t go weeks without talking like we normally would.
It was great. Highly Recommend it. The best $200 gift that lasts 8 months there is. Also, it’s approaching 25% full already. If you were going to get a spot, you should probably get one now before you check back and they’re gone.

Week 16 PROPS
If you’re reading this before the late game Saturday night, do I have a SGP loser for you!
As for the sims, its top pro is one unavailable to me where I am located at the moment. But hopefully they’re still hanging this number out there. Doesn’t really matter to me whether AJ Dillon returns or not.
SUB TO RUN THE SIMS PROP TOOLS PACKAGE
My “KNOW BALL” prop, in which I mean I follow people who know ball far better and research far more expensively, is Jordan Love under rushing props. Carolina has been a black hole of QB rushing yards this season, so I may as well try and get a piece of the action. Obviously, at this yardage, it only take one breakdown and it’s cooked, but love as reached down the running the past few weeks going under 9.5 in each of his past two and eclipsing it by one yard in a win against KC December 3rd. This is after crushing this number six of the first seven weeks of the year.
Week 16 DraftKings
Tambo and I broke down the slate and made lineups as we normally do. I’ve committed to Joe Flacco this week. So, I may as well be committed. We go over the XMAS slate at the end too
WATCH: Week 16 DraftKings Picks, Lineups, Ownership + XMAS DK PICKS
Justin Freeman will likely tweet out his RTS sheet once all the numbers and sims are completed Saturday night, but here’s a snap shot for ownership on Sunday atm. I would honestly expect Ridley to rise with the news Lawrence is playing now.
Beyond that, here are some other DK observations…
STACK SWAG
Justin Fields and DJ Moore vs AZ: There's one team allowing 4+ red zone trips per game this season and that is the Cardinals ... at 4.4! That's 10% more than the 0-16 Lions of 2008. These two have accounted for 43.7% of Chicago scrimmage yards over their past four games and Moore has cleared 18 DK FP in four straight games when Fields runs for 50+ yards.
PAY DOWN
Joe Flacco at HOU: At least 44 pass attempts in all three of his starts this season and now he faces the third worst team in opponent completion percentage. Joe Cool has a 40+ yard completion in all of those games and this team has seemingly committed to a pass heavy system -- 3rd highest in PROE since Week 12.
Tyjae Spears vs SEA: The rookie is 3/3 this month in terms of getting 10+ touches in games and Derrick Henry certainly sounded checked out last week. The Seahawks miss the third most tackles per game, have a below average opponent aDOT, and hold onto the ball less than anyone in the league.
Michael Wilson at CHI: A nice bring back for the stack and leverage off of what I assume is a popular Trey McBride in this spot. The 6'2" Wilson ran a route on roughly 89% of Kyler dropbacks last week and no team allows a higher percentage of opponent yards to be gained through the air than the Bears. Watch out, though; Wilson is prone to take a big ZERO shit on chest too.
Tyler Conklin vs WAS: The most boring option at the position has eight games with 4+ catches this season and faces a defense that is allowing over 30 PPG. Betting on the Jets offense is never fun, but doesn't mean Conk can't get there in DraftKings' PPR setup.
TIGHT END PREMIUM
T.J. Hockenson vs DET: A little holiday revenge spot? I'm in. At a limited position with six games (12 teams) off the main slate, the top shelf options are worth your while. Hockenson has at least 5 catches in nine of 10 games and is facing the fourth worst red zone defense.
Evan Engram at TB: In a perfect world, Lawrence plays, but without him, we are paying up to be different and I don't think it's wrong against the pass funnel Bucs. This season, Engram has at least eight targets in eight games this season and has hauled in 4+ passes in every single game.
SECRET SHOWS
Thanks for making it to the bottom. I wanna thank everyone for the support in 2023 and hope to hear from everyone throughout 2024. Geoff and I recorded two end of year golf shows for Xmas day and New Year’s Day, but since you’re here, you can watch them now if you like. The audio pods won’t come out until those days if you’re looking for them.
