Week 14 Recap
I recaped Week 14 Frans Andercust and Garion. Then Fienberg stoppeds by before SNF to break down Dolphins at Chargers, but really get trolled about the Herbert/Tua Acho Rap. It was low hanging fruit, and I took it.

NE AT ARZ — PROJECTIONS
With Moore, Meyers, and Harris currently out of the projections, these are the kind of lineups the optimizer loves after 10,000 simulations of the Monday Night Football game…
NFL TOOLS: 10% OFF OPTIMIZER, CUSTOM PROJECTIONS, LINEUP GENERATOR on Weekly, Monthly or Annual Plan
After the sims, Rhamondre Stevenson comes out in the Captain Spot 40.5% of the time in optimals. The next closest player is Kyler Murray at 10.4%. I can’t remember a time when I’ve seen such a gap. Of course, at Run The Sims, you can edit the input and quickly run 10,000 sims of your own.

Week 14 Team Notes
Jets: You know how hard it is to complete over 25 passes and not get a touchdown? Mike White was done it in consecutive games. He’s a fun viewing experience, but doesn’t matter for fantasy.
Bills: Remember that talk about James Cook being viable? Forget it. This offense is simply too run heavy to support multiple RBs (hell, one RB is a stretch in spots like this).
Browns: Deshaun Watson has been underwhelming across the board … but the fact that DPJ/Cooper/Njoku saw 28 of 39 targets is enough to sell me on the pass catchers here, even if Watson is all sorts of rusty.
Bengals: Samaje Perine scores and earned 5 targets. I’m not super worried for Joe Mixon. He’s still “the guy” in this offense and this offense is one that will put him in good spots.
Texans: Helluva battle. But no … chasing Chris Moore’s 10 catches or Amari Rodgers’ score is not worth your time. If Dameon Pierce or Nico Collins plays, they are worth a look. A look. No one else is worth a roster spot.
Cowboys: Another week with two viable RB performances. At this point, we can count on that more than we can count on any member of the pass game.
Vikings: Nobody can guard Justin Jefferson, that’s just a fact. Adam Thielen’s usage remains enough to land him in flex conversations and you could do worse given his propensity for TDs.
Lions: The broken coverage, 41-yard Jameson Williams TD made for a nice story and he’s a fine dynasty option … but I’m not there in redraft as we approach the playoffs. #RoadGoff is not something I’m looking to get a piece of and three of Detroit’s final four are away games.
Jags: Evan Engram routinely grades out well in the route running metrics and he finally paid if off. He’s not a top-5 TE, but I do think he’s a touch ahead of that “I hate tight ends and will let me dog pick who I start/add weekly” tier.
Titans: Chig Okonkwo is in a TE committee on a run first offense. Be careful in assuming he is some sort of league winner after a pair of strong performances.
Eagles: Miles Sanders’ touch ceiling is going to be capped as long as Jalen Hurts is doing Jalen Hurts things, but with five scores over the past three games and north of 300 rushing yards in those games … the potency of this offense is more impactful than any role limitations
Giants: Richie James led the team in all receiving categories. I’m not there with him (or any pass catcher in this offense), but if you think New York is going to be in a negative game script, James is a fine DFS flier.
Ravens: JK Dobbins looked good after missing six games and should be viewed as a RB2 moving forward, regardless of who is under center.
Steelers: Trubisky wasn’t good, far from it, but three pass catchers had viable fantasy days … he is better for fantasy purposes than Pickett.
Chiefs: Jerick McKinnon scored on the crazy Mahomes play .. but he didn’t have a carry in the first half and the JuJu/Kelce tandem soak up plenty of looks. He’s a fine add, but he comes with plenty of risk.
Broncos: Jerry Jeudy’s first half production was good enough for his best game of the season. Banking on DangerRuss (even if he’s back) is no fun, but it would seem that he can sustain one pass catcher. Maybe. Hopefully.
Bucs: The Bucs don’t want to run the ball, so if there’s a sniff of a game script like what we saw against the 9ers, you’ll be drawing thin. Sure, they can catch passes, but the floor is lower than I’m comfortable with in the fantasy playoffs.
49ers: Deebo goes down and Aiyuk immediately gets attention. At this point … I’d trust Kyle Shanahan with my children, so sure, I can find a way to start my 49ers, regardless of who is healthy.
Panthers: Chuba Hubbard got the short TD and saw 3 of 4 backfield targets in the first half. I’m in no hurry to get a piece of this backfield, but it seemed like they came into this game with a goal to use him in a fantasy friendly way.
Seahawks: Consecutive weeks where both Lockett and Metcalf found the end zone. It’s not always going to work, but from a concentration perspective, the Seattle triple is almost always going to grade out well.
