Week 14 RB SNAPS
Week 14 Team Notes
Cowboys: With no Tony Pollard AND a three possession lead in the first quarter, Ezekiel Elliott STILL could NOT cash the over on his morning rushing prop (59.5)
- Amari Cooper got the TD, but he was third among the receivers in targets against Washington
Footballs: Antonio Gibson accounted for just 10 of 23 Washington runs and five of his teammates saw more targets than him
Jags: James Robinson has 39 yards on 14 carries and 4 targets over the past 2 weeks combined.
Titans: Julio Jones returns to action and … nothing changes
- 3 straight games under 40 receiving yards and 5 straight under 60
Seahawks: TD or over 90 receiving yards in 4 straight games for Tyler Lockett (he had 3 such games this season prior)
- Alex Collins in 4 games prior to Week 14: 135 rush yards, 0 rush TD
o Rashaad Penny in Week 14: 16 carries for 137 yards and 2 TD
Texans: A season-high 7 targets for Brevin Jordan and he scored for the 2nd time in 3 games
- Brandin Cooks had 101 receiving yards in his 3 games prior to Sunday (he had 101 on Sunday)
Raiders: If you project Hunter Renfrow’s past 6 games for an entire season …
136 catches
1,355 yards
8.5 TD receptions
Chiefs: Clyde Edwards-Helaire entered Sunday with 1 TD on 91 carries this season. He scored twice on 10 carries against the Raiders
- It was his first game with multiple rush TD since … the last time he played the Raiders
Saints: Taysom Hill does nothing through 3 quarters … he got 16.6 fantasy points with his legs alone in the 4th quarter
Jets: 42 passes, 202 passing yards with 0 TD
- RBs: 13 carries for 45 yards and 0 TD
o If you’re rostering a Jet, you’re doing fantasy football wrong
Falcons: Kyle Pitts still hasn’t scored a TD in the United States (but Hayden Hurst catches one against the Panthers!)
- Worth noting … Mike Davis had more targets than Cordarrelle Patterson and did get 11 attempts on the ground
Panthers: Cam Newton led this team in rush attempts and rush yards while getting their first rush TD of the week (yes, Hubbard scored, no he’s not reliable)
- Robby Anderson and DJ Moore combined for a 63% target share
Ravens: Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman caught 18 of 19 targets (all other Ravens: 13 of 21)
- Hollywood Brown has been held under 60 receiving yards in 4 straight and has been held out of the end zone in 5 straight
Browns: Season-high 7 targets for Donovan Peoples-Jones
- He went over 85 receiving yards for the 3rd time in 5 games
Bills: Josh Allen becomes the 3rd QB ever to hit the double bonus (300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards)
- The others: Cam Newton (2015) and Russell Wilson (2014)
Bucs: 4 Buccaneers either saw 9 targets or caught a TD pass
- Uncle Lenny has hit the 100-yard rushing bonus OR caught 6 passes in 5 straight games
Lions: Consecutive double digit target games for Amon-Ra St. Brown
- With no real weather concerns and QBs with point producing potential left on the schedule (AZ, ATL, SEA, GB), the volume should stick and that gives him appeal in the right PPR league and/or DFS
Broncos: Melvin Gordon has 5 TDs in his past 5 games and is pretty clearly not going away.
- Remaining opponents: Bengals, Raiders, Chargers and Chiefs (which of those run defenses really scares you?)
Giants: All we can ask for from RBs is rushing volume and a role in the pass game, right? Saquon Barkley is getting that consistently and should continue as the Giants will almost certainly try to slow down every game moving forward (or at least they should!)
Chargers: Both Charger secondary receivers paid off against the Giants, but be careful on Jalen Guyton. Only 3 targets in a game full of favorable matchups and one that Austin Ekeler missed a portion of.
49ers: George Kittle has seen at least 7 targets in 4 games since his return to action. He has scored in each of those games and has hit the 100-yard DK bonus in 3 of them
- This backfield has become easy. Eli Mitchell is great and if he’s not healthy, those no dart worth your time as long as Deebo Samuel is active.
Bengals:
- It was an ugly first 50 minutes, but Ja’Marr Chase did get you the TD from 17 yards out. And then again from 32 yards out. He’s far from perfect, but the one play upside is all the justification you need to pencil him in weekly.
