Week 12 RB Snap Shares
Week 12 Game Notes
Bucs: Is Mike Evans still a must start? A buy low? 9 targets is usually enough to get him there, but times have been tough lately and the 9-catch effort from Rachaad White next to 12 from Godwin shows that Brady doesn’t need Evans to be a big part of things to move the rock.
Browns: Another good game for Amari Cooper and it should have been better if not for a bad drop. He had as many catches as any teammate had targets and it’s tough to see him moving backwards for fantasy managers with Deshaun Watson slated to return.
Bengals: Tee Higgins turned 9 targets into 114 yards and a TD … some will be concerned about the return of Ja’Marr Chase: don’t be. This is a 1a. 1b. situation and Higgins is every bit the fantasy star his numbers indicate.
Titans: Not 100% sold on Treylon Burks. Sub 18% target share in this one. Yea, they threw 34 passes, but not sure we see that often
Texans: It was only a matter of time until Dameon Pierce would start getting game scripted out of these games. It stinks, but with the Browns, Titans, Jags and Colts still on the schedule (Cowboys and Chiefs the other two games), I’m not sure he get written off quite like this much down the stretch.
Dolphins: Tua gets pulled a yard short of the bonus, 3 yards a carry for Jeff Wilson and neither receiver scores … that’s how you score 30 points in the first half and underwhelm in the DFS streets. Not worried. Carry on.
Bears: Chase Claypool got some looks (5 targets, end zone target) and might be a reasonable DFS flier in weeks to come if Justin Fields is out.
Jets: Mike White had more games with multiple TD passes and 0 INT today than Zach Wilson has in his career. Not sure this offense can sustain 3 viable pass catchers, but two feels like a safe bet.
Falcons: Stop messing around and playing Falcons. Not a player on this team I’m playing anywhere.
Commanders: Brian Robinson runs yard and the TD catch was a thing of beauty. I’m not locking in Washington RB if I don’t have to, but Robinson looks the part.
Broncos: Latavius Murray was fine. The one long run helped his efficiency numbers and he was the only Bronco with more than 2 carries. That said, if he doesn’t score, you’re probably going to be underwhelmed.
Panthers: DJ Moore’s fantasy stock is alive after a few big plays and a 35+% target share. Not calling him a lock, but he’s worth considering as we get back into bye weeks.
Ravens: Gus Edwards was clearly the man. His limitations in the pass game hurt you and the Lamar factor on the ground is a pain. All of that said … it’s tough to find volume and he should have it moving forward.
Jaguars: So … Zay Jones can’t be guarded. That seems to be a thing. And his stat line doesn’t even reflect the game winning 2-pointer. If Etienne is sidelined for a while, Jones is the WR1 on this team with a high floor in the pseudo run game.
Chargers: Justin Herbert is rounding into form at the perfect time and if he gets a full compliment of receivers … this is a million dollar winning type of offense given that they can’t stop the run. The question: will the targets been concentrated like years past or spread thin like today. Crack that code and you’re in business.
Cardinals: Hollywood was earning work in his return to action and how exactly the target distribution of this pass game is spread out when Rondale Moore returns is TBD. I want to say Moore and either Hopkins OR Hollywood is safe weekly, but tough to know for sure.
Raiders: Raider games are going to be of DFS interest the rest of the way (LAC, LAR, NE, PIT, SF, and KC). They have the potential to strike quick … with the opponent striking even quicker. Remember the early season Lions? Feels like that and I’m here for it. Oh … and Josh Jacobs was amazing. His role has evolved into something as friendly as there is: game script proofness is huge on a team like this.
Seahawks: Was Kenneth Walker’s stat line overwhelming? No, but the dude looks the part and that’s tough to deny. Tweet me … how many players would you draft ahead of him in redraft? DK having 4 more catches than Lockett had targets is noteworthy, but not something I’m reacting to moving forward.
Rams: Was that Cam Akers running hard? Obviously there’s nothing to feel good about for fantasy, but maybe, just maybe we can squeak out some bestball value late in the season?
Chiefs: Pacheco has seized control of this backfield and while the numbers weren’t blinding … he gets the Broncos twice, Texans and Seahawks in weeks 14-17. League winner???
Saints: I’m not fully out on Kamara, but this offense can’t move the ball and that’s an issue.
49ers: Eli Mitchell had a helluva TD run called back and continues to eat into CMC’s stat line more than I would have projected. It doesn’t change things for season long, you’re playing CMC every week he plays, but for DFS … the ceiling isn’t elite anymore, at least not until he proves it, even with Mitchell potenitally out for a bit.
