Week 11 Recap
Garion jumped on the show Sunday night, and provided his hand-scribbled game notes (with time codes!) from Jets/Pats before Cust had a Zach Wilson induced meltdown while unknowingly being dressed as Marty McFly.

Also, we’ve partnered with JOCK MKT for football season, and so far BIG JOHN Laghezza has been plucking the values from the high and low end. If you haven’t played JOCK MKT yet, it’s essentially a stock market for players, so you buy them a one price for the week and see if they turn a profit.

TAMBO
Shout out to Tambo who is going for the big money at King of The Beach in weeks time. He said if the lineup shell I went with on the show Friday got through, he’d giveaway a % of the final earnings at KOTB to the viewers, and guess what, WE DID IT!!!!! Thanks garbage time Donovan Peoples-Jones!

Week 11 Team Notes
Bears: Just another day for Justin Fields … elite rushing and no pass catcher with more than 5 targets. I want to like the pieces of this offense given the position Fields puts them in … but I just can’t get there.
Falcons: C-Patt had the record breaking kick return to get you there, but this is a committee to the highest order in an offense that I don’t really trust. I’m looking for excuses to not play any Falcon.
Browns: Amari Cooper looked like an alpha, something he does a handful of times every year and game script kills the run game, something it seems to do a handful of times a year. DPJ came through late and remains a flex worthy/WR3 down the stretch this season with Deshaun Watson coming back in Week 13.
Bills: Are the Bills going to look to run the ball down the stretch of the season to keep Josh Allen in one piece? No weather issues here and Buffalo was able to run the ball with their backs effectively. Singletary is a flex … and maybe Allen isn’t the QB1 moving forward.
Eagles: AJ Brown had his moments, but DeVonta Smith led this team in catches, targets and yards. No, he’s not their WR1, but the difference is minimal and it’s often overestimated on DraftKings.
Colts: There is almost no distinction between Parris Campbell and Michael Pittman as the WR1 in Indy under Matt Ryan. Both are viable flex options and Campbell will continue to be my preferred DK option as long as his price stays down.
Jets: The Jets scored 3 points … and that is one more than yards of offense they had in the second half. Good lord. Not that you were investing heavily on any of them … but not Jet is worth a look.
Patriots: Damien Harris had the touch edge early and Rhamondre Stevenson late. Stevenson’s unquestioned role in the pass game makes him a weekly fantasy starter, but he doesn’t come without risk.
Rams: Tyler Higbee saw 30% of the targets in this game and he remains the only Ram I’m playing. Allen Robinson is a punt play if you need it … but that floor is awfully low if he doesn’t score.
Saints: Chris Olave just wears you down. He threatens defenses down field for 60 minutes and eventually … we get there. 53-yard TD this week. He’s a safe play this year and man, he has all sorts of long-term upside if this team can figure out the QB situation.
Lions: Jamaal Williams ties Barry Sanders’ franchise record for games with multiple rushing TDs in a single season (5). D’Andre Swift got in late and all scores count the same, but man are you drawing thin with this dude right now.
Giants: My goodness was the a dud from Saquon. Happens. Wan’Dale Robinson produced like a WR1 and while he’s far from your traditional top pass catcher, the combination of volume and play-making ability makes him a weekly starter.
Panthers: D’Onta Foreman was again “the man” in this backfield, but let this serve as a reminder that role is not everything … if the offense isn’t in position to score, it doesn’t matter.
Ravens: Demarcus Robinson was involved and that’s worth a roster spot, but counting on any Raven flex guy not named Mark Andrews is a fools errand at this point.
Commanders: This Commanders defense deserves to be rostered in more leagues than they are. The backfield situation remains cloudy and Curtis Samuel doesn’t make it any easier. My guess is that someone from this backfield wins someone $1,000,000 over the final two months … but your guess is as good as mine as to who it is or when it comes.
Texans: Dameon Pierce lost you the week … doesn’t mean he can’t be a difference maker the rest of the way. Relax on him … he still runs just as hard as he did 48 hours ago and that’s still valuable.
Raiders: There isn’t a secondary Raider pass catcher I care about. Mack Hollins got his targets in this spot, Foster Moreau has in the past … forget it. Yea, the Renfrow/Waller injuries open up targets, but if those are empty calories, why consume them?
Broncos: What did we learn from this pass game without Jerry Jeudy? Nothing we didn’t already know … pass on anyone on this team. Simple. I don’t care who is active and who is not. Friends don’t let friends play Broncos.
Cowboys: Tony Pollard can’t be stopped … not even by the Cowboys. His floor is far lower than his skill set warrants, but the ceiling makes him a starter in most formats.
Vikings: Don’t sweat it. Game script killed everything Minnesota related this week … ain’t happening again this season (Pats, Jets, Lions, Colts, Giants and Packers to round of the fantasy season). This offense is fine. Better than fine … and we will see it sooner than later.
Bengals: We weren’t all wrong on Tyler Boyd. At least, I’m not admitting it yet. If Mixon is banged up, I’ll be going back to the Boyd well, even if Chase returns. Good receiver with a fine role in a strong offense … I’ll take my chances.
Steelers: Najee looks better than he has, but I’m looking for reasons to play anyone besides a Steeler.
