US OPEN CUT SWEAT LIVE is happening on Mayo Media Net Friday evening. So, if you’re a giant loser, like me, and are just home watching golf on Friday night, we’d love to have you tune in and use us as your second screen option while it’s going on. It’ll be on Youtube, probably starting around 7/730pm ET. I’ll have a better sense of start time after Thursday’s round is finished. Then I’ll tweet it out.

Here’s the final betting card for the US OPEN.
I finally made the choice between Bryson and Rory and decided to go with head and BIG BAD BRYSON. I discussed the other bets and why at length off the top of the Wednesday show as well if you care to know why. Which also lead me to this, for kicks…
It probably doesn’t surprise you, but this is not even close to the worst bet I’ve ever made.
In fact, at an event where only the Top 60 and ties make the cut, I donked off some more cash on three separate to make the cut parlays
If two of Pendrith, Clark, or Young MC this week I’m toast. But it was jumping on the Chan Kim bandwagon, if only to make 4Chan jokes on National Radio and the hosts having no fucking clue what I’m talking about. Sometimes the littlest wins offset the massive losses.
Don’t forget the ANDERCUSRED to miss the cut parlay either…
All of these are absolute sucker bets, but as a sucker, I quite enjoy them. I do think there is value in playing a round robin with some of the biggest names to miss the cut week, though. We see half the biggest names fail to make the weekend at the US Open every year. Pinpointing which ones is a crapshoot. At least a round robin gives you leeway on that front.
MAYO MEDIA
Remember, if you actually want to win money, the Dog or Pass Pod is where you need to be. And, it just happens, ITS OUT NOW
Also, the whole EURO team has been killing it. New, quick, videos for each day are up on the channel. Get the rundown and best bets for Thursday’s action
There’s an NFL show from me, and a Cust Corner Classic dropping tomorrow too. SO be on the look out.
DRAFTKINGS
LOCK isn’t until 9:45am ET Thursday, so there’s plenty of time to keep throwing money away into the $10 DK Milly Maker. Strangely, it only being $10 costs me more money than the $20 because I’ll just randomly chuck in more lineups whenever I have down time. “It’s only $10, who cares?” is something I tell myself when I’m on the can. And I never get that urge for the $20. It’s strange. Luckily I at a 7:30am tee time to prevent this from happening as I wait for it to start.
Cust and I also booked our tee times at these courses today too…
When we go at the end of July, I may have to live stream him falling off that cliff.
But to actual DraftKings. Firstly, for all the info, ownership projections, or the ability to generate 100s of lineups in seconds (plus everything else), use this link to get 20% any level of membership at Fantasy National. I recommend…………. doing it.
Here are my Top guesses at most owned in the Milly Maker. Sky always tweets out the ownerships right when when the event starts, so follow him for that instant info.
Xander 24%
Finau 21%
Hovland 20%
Rahm 18%
Lowry 17%
Louis 16%
Casey 16%
It doesn’t appear like anyone in the $6Ks will be overly chalky. Yesterday I thought it would be Vegas and Steele as the most owned, and I’m still there. But, unless everyone gloms on to one of them, expect them in the 4-7% range. nbd.
Spieth and Thomas are shaping up to the lowest owned of the 9K+ group, but Dustin is starting to trend down to their level too. Maybe it’s his recent form, maybe it’s the ANDERCUSRE, who knows? But if he came in the single digits I wouldn’t be surprised.
They’re all pretty expensive still, so Hideki remains the best logical pivot against the players he’s surrounded with. Check out yesterday’s newsletter fro more on Hideki in this spot.
Everyone’s on basically the same 6 or 7 guys in the $7K but Sungjae and Sergio stick out as the clear high end pivots with their upside. Leishman to a lesser extent too, but I have around 5%, whereas Serg and Sungjae are legit 3% plays.
I didn’t see the need to play too pivots because I feel like my lineup builds are contrarian enough this week. The most popular builds are 10K guy + 2 of Xander/Hovland/Finau, or just starting with Xander and going full balanced. Most of my lineups start with 2 of Bryson/Brooks/Rory, hit the upper 7s or mid 8s and use a combo of Wallace, Ortiz, Young, Pendrith and Clark. I have a a few more duds in that mix too like Ed Molinari and P ROD, but at a much lower level. Plus, I mixed in a little Spieth with those combos at the top because I couldn’t help myself. Either way, no matter how popular Bryson/Brooks/Rory get, that double 10K build just isn’t being used all that much from what I can see.
I text Rasa a fun lineup that started with all three of Bryson/Brooks/Rory, WATCH OUT MILLY MAKER LEADERBOARD!!!!
Anyways, thanks for all the support this week on all the shows and articles. I appreciate more than you know. Now enjoy some golf. Hopefully I see a bunch of million dollar screen shots for you Sunday night
