US OPEN BETS
BROOKS KOEPKA 25/1
Although it’s an unconventional course in the rotation, any time there’s a 2 in front of Brooks’ name it has to be an auto fire at any US Open or PGA Championship, even when he’s in poor form. ANDDDDD, Brooks found his game over the three rounds at LIV Houston last weekend. He capped off Sunday with the round of the day (-7) to get himself inside the Top 10 for the week. Just because you didn’t know it happened, doesn’t mean it didn’t actually happen.
WATCH: US Open Final Bets, One and Done, Weather | Underdog Pick’Em Rd 1
Collin Morikawa 27/1 (Using the Bet365 50% odds boost)
Morikawa enters with Top 5 in both Majors so far this season and in each of his past three starts. After a five month wait, Morikawa’s irons are finally returning to form, and he’s learned how to chip and putt in that time. No player has been more accurate off the tee over the past three months too. He’s peaking at the moment, and just needs a few more putts to drop on a. Sunday to cash in.
Cam Smith 40/1 (With 8 Places)
Smith struggles off the tee will either be hidden with jumbo jet sized fairways or completely bury him as he’ll be playing approaches from the wire grass instead of the short grass like the vast majority of the field. Once off the tee, Smith is still a Top 5 talent in the world. If he decides to bring all the wrath of his putter he can win. Since that’s unlikely, an average week with his putter should be enough cash his placements inside the Top 8.
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA 55/1 (With 8 Places)
Hideki had only played twice in the past two months: Masters and PGA Championship. He said he was going to play Wells Fargo but anyone who rostered him in Daily Fantasy or took him in a One and Done knows how that ended up. Hideki looked a lot closer to early season Hideki at Memorial, though. He got better almost every day, gaining in all four Major SG categories, while gaining on fairways vs the field and only slightly losing in distance. The worry is always his health and whether or not he’s trying to play through a hidden injury, but the numbers suggest he’s not. If that’s to be believed, Pinehurst is perfect for the player gaining the most strokes on approach per round at US Open’s over the past five years.
Si Woo Kim 100/1 (With 8 Places)
It’s not a difficult case to build for Si Woo. He’s been a Top 5 player T2G green this season, be it Ross courses, Dye Course, courses with no rough, courses with massive run off areas, Si WOOOOOO has won at them all. He just happens to legitimately not be able to putt. He’s gained on the greens in just one of his past 11 starts, but when he did, it was over four at Sawgrass where the greens should roll as pure. And despite losing more than 2 strokes per event on the greens in 2024, he’s missed just a lone one cut (PGA Championship). If he simply comes around average he should have a shot at a placement.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout 110/1 (With 8 Places)
One of Straka or Bez (maybe both!) will destroy your enjoyment of the US Open. I’m banking on it being Straka. Sepp rates out well in the short term stats model (No. 5), he’s a disaster in the Pinehurst course rankings (No. 103). Whereas Bez is Top 25 in both. Hopefully, like Cam Smith, these fairways are wide enough and roll out enough to catch him distance wise, because if he can play from the short grass he has a deadly combination for Long Iron/Wedge prowess, and elite putting to be the random guy that’s among the elites on the Sunday leaderboard. That’s before 00 Scheffler steals our soul. Not only is he 00 for his licence to kill, but he’s 00 on the roulette table. Green 00 hits, and the courier wipes the fucking board. Much like Scheffler does to all our bets.
Taylor Moore 250/1 (With 8 Places) & Top 30 +333
There’s the obvious worry that at the ultimate second shot golf course, one of the worst iron players in the field simply cannot compete. That’s likely true. However, since the field is only 50/50 to hit greens anyway there’s a slim chance that may mitigate his problems. If things go bas he may finish DFL. But if conditions are as difficult as they normally are at Pinehurst, a guy with a ton of distance and elite short game/bunker play/putting should be able to snatch a few pars against the field when he certainly should be making bogey. It’s how he has Top 20 finishes in each of the first Majors this season.
MAKE/MISS CUT PARLAY
Wouldn’t be a Major without throwing one of these together. Since the one at the Masters was a WINNER, we can lose the next 86 in a row and still be up money! I also played this without Bez for 63/1.
Remember, this is the most difficult cut to make in golf.
WEATHER
It remains hot, dry, firm and fast. Although it looks like it could be a tad windier than expected all day Thursday. Which should lead to some carnage.

DRAFTKINGS
As Tambo and I concluded on the show Wednesday monring: This will be the chalkiest lineup of the week.
WATCH: US Open DraftKings Picks, Lineups, Ownership, Strategy
Projections will love it, as mentioned eariler, everyone loves Straka and Bez this week, and it uses all $50,000 of salary cap. Expect to see a lot of this in cash games.
I’ve made more hand built lineups but I figured I’d show how I built 25 Scottie linueps at the top on bottom using the Fantasy National lineup builder

and just took a buck shot at the bottom from 7K and below, making sure every player I selected was at least in 4/25.
