OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
We’re doing one more YUGE Major blowout for The Open next week. research will drop on Friday or Saturday. And you should anticipate a lot of fun accents on that show.
Also, I was thinking of doing an early morning watch-along Thursday or Friday. Would anyone be down for that? I’m thinking around 5am ET. If you’d be in for that, respond and lmk.
PICKS
Viktor Hovland +3300 — The deck is worrisome, but it’s giving us enough of a break on his price to gamble on the upside of the best short term iron player in the field. Hopefully, the different methods of attack with chipping this week will normalize is usual spotty short game.
Sam Burns +4000 — Maybe it’s wishful thinking his approach game has flipped enough to truly having him contend in an elite field, but this is betting and I’ll bet it can. After a 10 event run from the Genesis through the PGA Championship, Burns lost to the field on approach in every start. By a lot too. Fortunately, he’s Sam Burns and putted his way to some decent finishes over that time. Since however, he’s gained in four straight with his irons, and ranks the best on slow greens over the past two years of PGA regulars in the field this week.
Max Greyserman +8000 — Fresh off his playoff loss in Detroit, Greyserman makes a second run in Scotland after his T21 a year ago. Currently, the driving has been immaculate while the short game and putting seem to spike every other week; he simply needs to start hitting his irons a wee bit closer. Still, even with the average recent proximity he sits Top 25 in this field in eagles, distance, and Par 4 scoring over the past two months. Plus, this guy owes us all money. Let’s collect.
Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen +9000 (8 Places) — The Dane has been electric T2G against all fields in 2025, while the putter has been consistently cold. A return to slower greens should (hopefully) lessen those issues. He posted a 2nd on the Velcro green in Puerto Rico earlier this year and has been consistently good in Scotland in his two appearances in the Alfred Dunhill Links (T4/T22).
Nick Taylor +11000 (8 Places) — Taylor may be the new Si Woo. Whenever he drops to triple digits, just fire and hope it’s a Nick Taylor week. What’s strange is how much his odds fell this week despite being on a really good run at the moment. Five of his past six events have been Majors or Signature fields and the Canadian Open, he’s finished Top 25 in five of them.
Kristoffer Reitan +20000 (8 Places) — Guy’s been killing it on DP. Apparently Scandinavian players are all the rage these days, so why not?
UNDERDOG
Fairways here are tough to hit in general but GIRs tend to be easy. So, I went LOWER on fairways for AM guys, and HIGHER on GIR for PM guys. Hope it works!

WEATHER
On the surface, it appears like there’s only going to be wind early wave Thursday (along with colder temps) and it’s clear sailing the rest if the week with little to no wind. But then I refreshed into the SUPERFORECAST and it looks like the gusts are coming in perfectly for a PM/AM stack.

WIND TOWER: Dirleton
Maybe it doesn’t come through, but it’s worth the gamble in my DK lineups imo. I’ve stacked up 70% of my lineups with PM/AM guys. This is my player pool for those stacks with one critical difference. You’ll notice Sungjae at the bottom. I didn’t really play him. For whatever reason, the Fantasy National system refuses to put Neergaard-Petersen at $7,600 and lists him at $6,000. So I used Sungjae as a place holder and used global swapped with RNP. Took like 3 seconds.

Here’s what the macro view looks like for rounds 2-4.
In either scenario, the PM/AM gets the best of it. It’s just to what degree.
WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
I have some tickets to the Wyndham this year and I wanna give them to one of you. If. you’re reading this newsletter, respond through email and let me know if you’d want a single day or all 4 days of tickets. I only have a capped amount but I’ll try to split them up the best I can. I went last year and it’s a great time.
