If you DEMAND more of me, Cust and Geoff, you’re in luck. We’ll be recording very early Friday morning to recap the NFL draft and do a Mini Cust Corner. Probably about this terrible eggs list Cust put out. Should be on all feeds by the time you start work Friday morning.
In the meantime, if you’re into the draft, I highly recommend the Mock Draft I did with Thor and Ray. It doesn’t really matter who went where, because that’s irrelevant as it turns out. But shout out to the “I TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY” mock draft people. No, Thor and Ray break down the players more than the landing spots and if you want a quick breakdown on all the first round names you’ll hear Thursday night, it’s a watch/listen.

GOLF BETS
Morikawa/Kitayama — It’s crazy that Kitayama may need to pick up Morikawa on approach play, but the way they’ve both been hitting irons, that’s what is going to need to happen to propel them up the leaderboard. The driving between them has been excellent while Morikawa has somehow become a savant on and around the greens the last month. I used my 30% boost to take them from 13 up to 17.5 after missing the early 16s.
Mitchell/Dahmen — If you want a team thats going to hit it to 10 feet every time and only make 20% of those putts, this is the squad. Mitchell’s put up a T6 and T4 in this event with different parents over the past three years, and combined there’s been no better approach team in the field dover the past 24 rounds.
Moore/NeSmith — Partners the past two years in this event which has resulted in consecutive Top 5 finishes. Moore enters this year’s event in great form, just like last year while NeSmith has the same dismal form as 12 months ago. Still, their skill complement each other quite well. Moore excels with the driver and around the greens, and NeSmith, despite the lack of results, can be one more the better pin seekers inside 150 yards on tour. If they can run hot on the greens they can most definitely win.
Schmid/Smalley — For players with over one round of experience at Pete Dye courses there are only two in this field averaging over two strokes total per round over the past 12 rounds: Xander Schauffele (+2.45) and Matti Schmid (+2.41). Plus, zee German’s recent results have been pretty solid lately too. Then Smalley, after seven straight missed cuts, was resurrected last week in Dominican Republic posting a T6. Maybe he can catch lightning in a bottle and roll it forward and look like the same player we were betting to win real tournaments two summers ago.
Coody/Coody — All the other brother teams are at the top of the betting board, except the Coodys. Who knows how many rounds they’ve played with and against each other, and to deep dive their stats from the past year, they actually have very complimentary games. Pierceson can drive and putt while Parker can hit irons and chip. Big odds for a cohesive team at a course where accuracy hasn’t proven to be a determining factor.
LIV
Louis — He’s been playing great in the past six months, including a pair of was in South Africa. It seems like he’s tending toward a LIV victory some point so may as well jump on now.
Reed — Found the number too large for a course under 7,000 yards.
Charl — Chucky Chompers really hasn’t been good at all, but when he spikes, it tends to be near the top of the leaderboard. He finished T2 three starts ago on LIV and came runner up to Louis at the end of 2023 and we get him at deep odds at a course that mitigates distance and rewards irons and short game. As a bonus, Charl was T7 in this event a year ago.

NEW LEADERBOARD APP
Think the PGA Leaderboard APP blows? So did we. That’s why we created the only one you’ll ever use again. It’s available in test mode RIGHT NOW for members of Fantasy National, and it’s been expanded to Android on top of iPhone now too. There’s a banner at the top of the FN page if you want to get on the list. For existing members, it’s no extra charge, it’s just an add on to the membership. But if you’re not a member, you’ll need to become one.
Oh, we just added a groups page as well if there are certain lineups, H2Hs, Pick’em entries you want to track on the side from just a “favorites” group.
Here, have 20% off (along with access to every other tool).

UNDERDOG
You really need to do 2 things 1. Join Underdog and get your $100 deposit match. BOOM you’re already up $100. EASY
Use code “MAYO” at underdog for a deposit match up to $100
2. Since there isn’t PGA this week (I will tweet out LIV and UFL enteries btw) Follow @chrismeaney’s NHL plays and multiply your bankroll.
His numbers are better on UD a lot of the time than at sportsbooks. It’s been a great playoffs so far! Sometimes it’s simple enough as knowing the right people to listen to if you have no clue.

ZURICH DRAFTKINGS
Most people are taking the week off for Zurich, I half did myself. However, these week with goofy formats for PGA DFS is the perfect time to talk to Sky since he’s always digging deep into the proper strategy.
Sky goes over the bet roster construction from the past three years and uses those data points to try and figure out where we need to limit our teams this week. If you care about DK at the Zurich, you’ll wanna tune in.

I played 52 lineups in the $5 and that was about it. Turns out, I too wasn’t super interested either. But here are my top exposures.
