PICKS
Jon Rahm — I finally bit the bullet on someone near the top of the board. Rahm has been my gut lean all week, and after rewatching the final around at Doral, I’ve decided to trust my gut. As someone who actively is trying to shrink my gut, maybe a terrible choice is its revenge on me. It occurred to me that Jon Rahm has historically struggled in Florida and on Bermudagrass in his career. When you’re on LIV some things fall by the wayside. But it was on full display in Miami. He just can’t chip off that stuff. And it took him from T1 at the turn to having to pin seek on the toughest holes to try and close the gap and he blew up. As someone who bets players to win, not come in second, I appreciate Rahm’s commitment to always playing for first, even if it means taking a triple while trying to make it happen. Overall, he’s yet to finish outside the Top 10 in any LIV event in 2025 and can be forgiven (at least by me, clearly) for a disappointing defense of his Green Jacket a year ago. Most defending winners don’t have the goods the following year. Rahm’s still the guy who has never missed a Masters cut and has a win and five Top 10s in seven starts. Hopefully he’s just like Brooks now and only cares about the Majors.
Shane Lowry — After struggling at the beginning of his Masters career, Lowry now has Top 25 finishes in four of his past five Augusta Appearances. The worst of the bunch was a T43 last year; Lowry was fourth in ball striking for the week but lost an ungodly 7.8 strokes with his putter. The most of any of his 178 measured starts on the PGA TOUR. I’m willing to chalk that up as an outlier and focus more on him being fifth of all players in T2G per round over the past three Masters and his four Top 11 finishes over bis past six starts entering this week.
Robert Macintyre — It’s no secret lefties enjoy their time at Augusta (Riviera too), and BOB has been no different. He’s only twice teed it up at Augusta and managed a Top 25 finish in both appearances (T15 in his one start at RIV as well). He now returns to The Masters three years sine his last start a significantly more polished player. Currently sitting No. 17 in the World Rankings, the Scot picked up his first two PGA Tour wins over the last year, played in a Ryder Cup, and enters the years first Major with three Top 11 finishes in his past four starts including a T11/T9 run through Bay Hill and THE PLAYERS against the best fields of the year.
Sepp Straka — A lone missed cut to go with a win and two other Top 10s in 2025 gives the now No. 15 ranked player in the world every check point need for his lead-in form. Straka’s even gained at least 4 strokes on approach in six of eight past starts. And he keeps figuring out Augusta in each of his starts. T16 in his third Masters start a year ago, Straka is just one of 11 players who have gained an average of 0.75 SG:OTT per round. Other names on list include Scottie, Rahm, Rory, and Bryson. Elite company.

Sergio Garcia — It’s been a struggle for Sergio at The Masters since his win I 2017: Five missed cuts in his last six starts. When he went to LIV it felt like he was kind of calling it career. Then he decided he really wants one last go at the Ryder Cup and drastically improved his game over the last year. He picked up a win on LIV towards the end of last year, and has been statistically the best player on LIV in 2025. He has a win and two other Top 6 finishes, including a solo 3rd at Doral over the weekend. While he’s not in many Majors anymore, he did post his best result in five years at last year’s US Open with a T12 at Pinehurst.
Masters Final Bets, Weather, One & Done Picks
Kevin Yu — I have to roll the dice on one first timer, and I’ve decided if Kevin YUUUUUUUUUU doesn’t putt himself out of this tournament (a big ask, I know), he actually has the perfect skill set for The Masters. The 300/1 with the Top 10 attached is likely a giant loser, but +1400 in the Top debutant market makes a lot of sense to be if he can just be neutral on the greens. Yu enters, among all players in the field: 12th OTT, 7th APP, 3rd Eagles, and 21st in distance over the past 24 rounds. You never know what to expect with first timers and these green complexes, but his ball striking has been about has consistent as any player in the upper-mid range, and he’s being priced like a scrub.
H2H — Cameron Smith over Viktor Hovland (+100 Coolbet)
Look, maybe Viktor is fixed coming off his win at Valspar. Then I’ll lose. But if he even somewhat resembles the guy from every other week in 2025 he’s going to get beat by guy with four Top 10s at The Masters over the past five years. Viktor has a better chance to actually win than Cam, but probably only beats him 3 of 10 times on the final leaderboard.
If you missed the MEGA MASTERS Write up, you can get that here…

WEATHER
For the first time in what seems like months I’m not overly concerned about the weather. Friday looks a bit rough, but basically equally rough for everyone so I’m not too concerned. It does appear t be a tad chilly over the weekend, so my Hefty Euros bets should play well with that.
WIND TOWER: DANIEL FIELD AIRPORT
DRAFTKINGS
Tambo and I talked through the whole slate, including example builds of the chalk lineups and how we plan to get different.
Masters 2025 DraftKings Picks, Ownership & Lineups
For ownership, it’s probably not hard to guess how everything is shaking out from 9K and above: People love Morikawa, Rory, and Scottie. No one like Aberg or the bottom of the 9Ks.
GET 20% OFF FANTASY NATIONAL STATS/TOOLS TODAY!!!!!
Beyond that: Lowry, Henely, BOB, Conners, Straka, Reed, and Sergio are all expected to get a lot of love. No need to pure fade them because of that, just get creative in the ways you deploy them in lineups. The Masters Milly Maker winner usually has 3 pretty solid chalk pieces in it, you just need the right low owned guys. Which leads me to…
Dustin Johnson $7,500 (Projected 4% Owned) — When Dustin busts, I’m never rewatching LIV rounds ever again. DJ finished T27 after being only 3 strokes behind through 8 holes Sunday. He closed +7 in his final five holes to finish at +7 for the event. Once he knew it had no chance to winning you could visually see him back it in. That’s always a fear when we’re playing DraftKings that he simply packs it in an screws us. I know this. Yet, after watching him for 45 holes in Miami and come 5th in his previous start, it’s clear he’s secretly playing a lot better than most think. As a former winner who used to easily yet around Augusta, DJ has sneaky value.
I’m actually playing a bunch of guys in the $6K Range:
Detry
Spaun
Ben AN (Fav of the Bunch)
Mike Kim
Phil
Glover
Kevin Yu
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
