Before discussing all things DraftKings for the week, Tambo and I put our head together for some Round 1 Underdog Pick’em action. We decided to go with the H2H matchups and here’s what we came up with.

BETS

Hoge —It’s been preordained. Don’t fight it.

Unless it isn’t then…

Harman, English, Bez, Hubbard — Looking at some average/shorter hitters who shouldn’t be as penalized because of distance but can get hot with their irons and flat stick.

Keegan — His approach play continues to be excellent. You worry about everything else, but the number vs his elite upside seemed too good to pass on.

Glover —The past two times Glover gained more than a stroke putting for a tournament, he won. The T2G remains sharp so here’s to praying he can fluke out on the greens.

WEATHER

The weather appears to favor the EARLY/LATE draw as it stands currently. As a coward, I stacked both sides in case everything shifts or there’s a delay.

I thought he made a really good point about Scottie. It’s an obvious one, but I’m an idiot so I wasn’t really considering it: Scottie is $100 more on DK this week than last. Based on fields, this is a huge value vs the PGA Championship.

I played Scottie on 40% of my lineups. That’s probably around field average. I would have locked in, but I NEED to find a way to lose more money on Hoge and his eventual MC.
