Byron Nelson, NFL Schedule, UFC
Last Research and Solid Pick Promos
Before we get to golf (and other things of interest) There’s an NFL SCHEDULE RELEASE SHOW LIVE TONIGHT at 830pm ET.
Watch it, OKKKK??????
Here’s the PGA cheatsheet. Hopefully I can get luck here (or overseas) and juice up my bankroll to I’ve back for next week. The only two bets I have for Kiawah Island are Matt Wallace 110/1 and Robert McIntyre 150/1 (both with the Top 5s).
I actually really like Wyndham Clark. As I do most weeks. After gaining on the greens in 10 of 11 starts, he’s now lost in all three of his most recent made cuts. And the losses haven’t treading water, it’s been an average of -3.3 SG: Putting per start. Now back on Bentgrass, where he’s historically gaining +0.5 SG: PUTT/Round, Clark can try to bomb and gouge the hell out of the shorter holes at TPC Craig Ranch.
Hopefully the switch to Bentgrass helps the Ghim Reaper not lose 5000 strokes putting too. Knowing how I’ve been running lately, he’ll gain 3 strokes on the greens and somehow miss the cut.
Bentgrass putting splits…
If you’re an amateur meteorologist, here’s the wind tower I’m using for the week. If this holds up, at least for Thursday, it’s a bit nippy when the players first get on the course hanging in the mid-50s/low-60s before becoming palatable later on in the afternoon.
I try not to care much about the weather on the weekend, mostly because my bets and DraftKings Lineups are COOKED by Friday, so what’s the point? If you’re someone who isn’t a travesty at this, looks like it could get damp and windy come Sunday.
Here’s a promo for ya if wanna bet with FREE MONEY. Sign up for Prize Picks HERE (https://bit.ly/PrizePicksMMN) and use promo code “MMNMLB” and they’ll match your deposit for up to $100. So deposit $25, get a FREE $25 to bet with. Then play with house money and go for a big one. That’s the move.
Since it appears like there will be ample scoring opportunities overs on some of the late wave Thursday guys may be the play on Prize Picks. Not to throw shade on the early wave players, but I know what I’m like when I wake at 530am for a tee time and it’s 52 degrees outside. Tough to activate those glutes. Just rather not tempt fate. Put it this way, it’s not enticing me towards pounding the unders on any of those guys, a simple pass will suffice for most, but since you need one under on PGA Prize Picks cards I’ll tackle Sam Burns, who is out at 7:34am local, and is known for his -7 or +7 opinion rounds. Let’s hope it’s a +7 day.
You can switch up the type of lineup you can enter too. If you do the FLEX PLAY you only need to hit 3 of 4 to win money, but your upside is capped if you get all 4 correct. I’m here for upside.
Honestly, I’ver been having more fun with these than opening round 3-balls or H2Hs. So, here’s the link (https://bit.ly/PrizePicksMMN) and use code “MMNMLB” for that deposit match.
The Dog or Pass Podcast for UFC 262 IS OUTTTTTT!!!!!! Picks and bets for each fight. And a FREE Monkey Knife Fight contest to play to try and win some bucks. That’s here (https://bit.ly/UFC257MKFFree). If you wanna deposit, use code “DOP” for a deposit match and helpsupport the show.
For the free game it’s Lutz vs Aguilar and the guys like double overs on both their totals. Get it right and it’s $12.50 for a free entry. May as well, right?
And if you’re playing DK for the UFC PPV Brett Appley and MadLab will have vids out on Mayo Media Network Thursday and Friday with picks. Plus, I released a UFC DraftKings Strategy video/podcast this week if you wanna refine your game with some tips.
Do you like Davis Mattek? Or at least love HATE-LISTENING to him? Good news! We recorded a BONUS CORONACAST today if you wanna hear about a potential opportunity to host a Fantasy Football Show on MMN, inflation, weird diffs between Canada and the US, home workouts and other stuff.
Davis joined me and Pete Overzet to chat “Owning Mahowny” on the first edition of the “Gambling Movie Club.” Pete and I also shared some pathetic personal casino stories along the way. If you haven’t seen the movie, it’s really no big deal, but if you do want to watch, get it for free here.
I added the 9K+ DK Ownership yesterday. Here it is again…
Here’s what it looks like today.
Now, I took that screen grab at 3:30pm ET off Fantasy National (Get 20% OFF Fantasy National with this link BTW), meaning, there’s still plenty of lineups to be generated to get these ownerships closer to what they’ll actually look like Thursday morning. So most definitely log in later on Wednesday night to FN and see if there’s movement.
So far, it appears like people are cooling on Palmer after looking like early-week chalk. Ownership moving off of Leishman too. Down the list, it looks like Ghim, Vegas, and Gooch are going to be pretty popular options from the lower levels.
In the mid-$7K range, it appears like no one wants to use ROZ!!!! It’s difficult to surmise how the Frenchman’s game is going to translate to the PGA TOUR. It’s one thing to beat up on a scrub field in Qatar or post top results at a sub 7000 yard course on the Canary Islands, it’s another to test your skills, not just against the upper crust of the world’s best, but even the grinders in the mid-tier of the PGA Tour. The Sepp Strakas and Tom Hoges of the world. We got a small taste at the Match Play when ROZ knocked off Bryson on the opening day, but that’s really about it. That was his first WGC and next week’s PGA Championship will be his debut Major.
Now, all this mystery is resulting in no ownership for the world’s No. 70 ranked player. I’m talking like 2% in DraftKings GPPs or less here. I have no clue how he’s going to fare on a PGA track, but his results have been too good to ignore. Since last year’s Italian Open, Rozner has made 12 of 13 cuts with two wins, four Top 10s, and eight Top 20s. Yes, a lot of those results were against weaker EURO fields, but his win at the Golf in Dubai Championship presented by DP World featured the best of the regular European Tour talent. And his T9 at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in January came with Casey, Sergio, Fleetwood, Fitzpatrick, Westwood, C Bez, Hatton, Rose, Willett, Wallace, Morikawa, and Poulter all in attendance. If he was Uber-chalk, this would be an easy fade, yet we’re in a position where a Top 10 finish from Rozner can be the key in separating your DraftKings rosters from the back at the Byron Nelson.
If you’re looking for the content this week, here it is:
Tough go For Matthew Wolff. He WD’d from next week’s PGA Championship. This is what happens when Cust picks you in January to win the event.
Oh, and if you’re feeling like you need slightly more ACTION, here’s a to make the cut parlay that certainly won’t win.
