TDRL Notes
Accuracy super low; GIR really high
Fairway bunkers the biggest defense
81% GIR Fairway (78% AVERAGE)
56% Rough (52% Average)
Only 18% Bunkers (49% Average)
Par 3's (5): Average distance - 187 yards
-These are 5 of the 6 most oft-par’d holes on the course (two carrying a par rate north of 70%)
-MacIntyre played the Par 3’s even over the weekend (8 par’s, 1 bogey, and 1 birdie)
Par 4's (10): Average distance - 454 yards
-3 of the 5 toughest holes on the course are front-9 Par 4’s (Holes 2-7-8)
-Hole 18 (483-yard Par 4, the toughest on the course) was the only hole MacIntyre bogey’d twice last season on his way to the win (he did birdie it on Sunday)
Par 5's (3): Average distance - 590 yards
-The 3 easiest holes on the course, , all of which carry a birdie rate of at least 35% and a single digit bogey rate
-MacIntyre played the final Par 5 (Hole #16) at -4 for the week
DFS Streak
This course is designed to limit momentum and that means you don’t have to waste too much mental power in this regard. The toughest three-hole stretch on the course is 7-8-9 (all of them have a bogey rate that is more than double the under par rate) and the next most difficult is 18-1-2 (Holes 18 and 2 are the two toughest on property).
It’s very possible to build birdie streaks on both sides of this course, but they rarely happen when bridging the nine’s, so don’t look this direction for a Showdown tiebreaker.

WEATHER
As you may have noticed from the winning scores, the conditions are the major factor in how low the field can go. Yes, it’s early and certain open to change, but the conditions seem rather benign, outside of Thursday, for a golf outing in Scotland. Bookmark the tower and keep checking back as these things change massively over the next couple days.

NOTES
The nines are switched for the ISCO Championship.
Renovation included adjusting tees, bunkers and green slopes.
Winter was harsh with prolonged cold temperatures causing some winter kill in the fairways. Damaged areas were repaired, but unseasonably cool and wet spring compounded the issue be delaying the recovery and growth of the warm-season grasses on fairways and tees.
Expected high temperatures are putting stresses on cool season grasses on greens, approaches and rough.
Originally designed by Chick Adams in the 1960s, the course was renovated in 2005 highlighted by a major bunker improvement program. For the PGA TOUR, they’ve switched the nines versus the normal routing so as to not finish on a par 3.
This course switch seems to have been overlooked by most this week, as we get away from the BOMBS away venue to a tight, short, parkland track. Hurstbourne is one of the five shortest courses of the year and features the third smallest green complexes.
These are the players averaging the most total strokes on Par 70s measuring under 7,200 yards (Past 12 Rounds). However, since this is a field filled with DP World Tour players and some KFT guys, if you have an inclination on a particular player’s skill set that will mesh well with this course, FIRE AWAY
